    Hi,
I am orignally a high school history teacher who made a HUGE career change but becoming a k-2 special education teacher. Needless to say, I am in a whole new world……but a world that has given me opportunities for new experiences….one of which is your beautifully written and illustrated books. My students love them and I love them. I am a HUGE animal lover and use alot of animal themes in my classroom so your books are a perfect fit. Thanks for what you do for teachers and children around the world. I have to admit….I have my own stash of your books at home that I read, reread, and relish the pictures in over and over again. It provides a mini escape from a sometimes hectic life. You have an amazing talent and I am grateful that you share it!

    Thanks Cindy,

I love my work, and I cannot tell you how much it means to me when teachers write and let me that they enjoy my books and artwork. Thanks from my heart.

My second graders have a question. Is Hedgie in ALL of your books? We have found him hidden in the books or he is a character, but we CAN NOT find him in Who’s That Knocking on Christmas Eve? Please help us. We love your books and enjoy all your details in the art work. Love, Mrs. Smiley’s Class
