Jan…so happy to get another recipe from you!!!
I am a bread baker and can’t wait to try this new
recipe. I am a teacher who shares your books with
my students…when your Gingerbread Baby book
came out…I bought it…read it to my students then
sent the recipe for gingerbread cookies home with
students that night…next day a parent had cookies
for each student…we love your books
I am excited about your bus tour…entered the
contest today…hope I win. When you come to Ohio
will you be stopping during the day for a booksigning or presentation?

I am a retired teacher and ALWAYS shared your books with my class. They would ALWAYS ask, “we want to hear a Jan brett book!” You sent us an autographed poster and we were all thrilled!! I still buy your books!! Thanks again for such wonderful adventures!!

Visiting a foreign country is always a muse and an inspiration. Why not come to Istanbul, Turkey ? Very different combination of cultures and mythological history at the south side.

This Marine Corps veteran (married to a Marine vet) asks you to send along our thanks to your daughter and son-in-law who currently serve. It is true, Once a Marine Always a Marine. I’m a teacher now, but our time in the Corps is something that shaped and directed our lives in a profound and lasting way.

Hi Jan! I enjoy reading your blog, and my daughter, Briana, loves your books. She is a budding artist and cherishes your rich illustrations. We recently saw your appearance on Martha Stewart and were amazed at the beauty of your chickens. We, too, love chickens and are the proud parents of six beautiful chicks.
